Over 19,500 children from Ukraine have been forcibly deported as part of the ongoing conflict. This is potentially a very low estimate and these actions constitute a grave violation of international law. We cannot stand by and allow leaders to get away with this. Crimes against humanity, no matter where they are and who by, should be punished. Justice demands action.

😤🪖MPs from all parties are exasperated by the lack of action being taken globally against individuals perpetrating illegal acts against others, with seemingly zero consequences. This isn't a single conflict issue, and we need to see the global community stand-up to preserve the moral standards that have been globally observed and sustained for the past 70 years or so.

⚽️ I was able to speak about the Football Governance Bill which both main parties committed to at the last general election. I naturally used it as an opportunity to talk about Nottingham Forest and its fantastic season. 😁

📉 It is clear that the benefits of this type of testing are increasingly limited due to advancements elsewhere, so I was happy to call on the government to enhance funding into alternative research as part of the transition towards ending animal testing altogether.

...as well as calling for Israeli hostages to be released, I lamented the flagrant breaking of international humanitarian law and asked the minister to confirm what the government is doing to ensure it is both upheld and respected.
